Once upon a time…
A boy named Eric listened to an audio drama about the orchestra, resulting in the curiosity to learn cello. His parents offered Piano lessons instead…and so his journey with music truly began!
No surprise, that was me. In the time since that early moment I have grown as a musician within school choirs, handbell & chime ensembles, community & college choirs, and musical theater. I’ve worked with kids and adults in a variety of learning environments and studied Music Education at Western Washington University. This wonderful bouquet of experiences lead me to teaching choir part-time for three years at a public school and becoming an active and proud member of the Seattle Men’s Chorus. Now, I focus my time into this private piano studio.
I want to show every individual how they can find their inner musician and create fantastic melodies that inspire joy and emotion. I want to show you the music inside yourself that you already hold. Perhaps I will be a stepping stone for you in your journey with music or maybe we will build together until you take off on your own - whatever the case may be, I’m up for the co-creation. Let’s get learning.
