Tuition Information
Monthly tuition may be paid by the 1st of each month or may be made in two equal payments by the 1st and the 15th.
30 Minute Lessons
Perfect for beginners, 30 minutes offers time to introduce new concepts, practice them together, and set up good practice methods for the week ahead.
$225 monthly tuition
45 Minute Lessons
This longer lesson time is suited to students as they progress, allowing us a little extra time for feedback and direction with an added emphasis toward creating healthy practice techniques.

60 Minute Lessons
Sixty minutes of lesson time is for students who prefer to spend more one-on-one time in the lesson perfecting their technique, deepening their understanding of theory, and refining their form.

Monthly tuition averages 46 lessons over one year. This keeps your price consistent and provides for easy budgeting and bookkeeping for both you and me.

Mid-Winter Break in February
Spring Break in April
I’m happy to conduct a lesson during these weeks, if you so choose. Scheduling during these times will be case-by-case.
Tuition & Attendance Policy
- The above rates are for Zoom instruction. If you wish for me to travel to you/your family , an additional flat $40 monthly travel fee will apply. (This is waived if you live within my neighborhood.)
- For each additional student per family, you will receive a $40 monthly discount for your family’s total tuition.
- Receive $40 off one month of tution when you refer a new ongoing piano student.
- If an absence arises, please let me know ASAP and I will happily reschedule to another day within that billing period, if possible. Rescheduling is not guaranteed, though usually not a problem.
- Absences not to be rescheduled within the billing period (ex. family trips) require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and shall result in a partial refund of $20 credited to the following month’s bill for each lesson missed. Travel fees will not be adjusted.
- Unexcused absences (“no shows”) will be billed as if the lesson had occurred.
- No long-term commitment is required, though a $50 monthly holding fee will be applied per student if you should decide to take time off and wish to return to the same lesson slot.
